Explore tailored NDIS support with C4U Services.

  • Discover our diverse assistance services.
  • Connect for guidance on your NDIS plan.
  • Achieve autonomy and community involvement with us.

An NDIS Planning Meeting is a critical step in accessing the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS). During this meeting, you and an NDIS planner or Local Area Coordinator will discuss your current support needs and future goals. The outcome is your NDIS plan, which outlines the supports funded by the NDIS and other supports available in your community. It's an opportunity to ensure your plan aligns with your personal goals and needs.

You have several options for managing your NDIS funding:

1. NDIA Managed - The National Disability Insurance Agency (NDIA) manages your funding and takes care of paying providers on your behalf.
2. Plan-Managed - A Plan Manager is funded in your plan to manage the financial aspects, including paying bills.
3. Self-Managed - You or your nominee manage the funding directly, allowing flexibility in choosing providers and services.
4. Combination - You can combine the above options to suit your needs and preferences.

After your NDIS plan is approved, you can start accessing services and supports. If your plan is NDIA-managed, you'll use NDIS-registered providers. If plan-managed or self-managed, you have more freedom to choose non-registered providers. To initiate services, contact your chosen providers to discuss your needs and start receiving supports as outlined in your plan. Remember to review and adjust your plan regularly to ensure it continues to meet your evolving needs.
